Job Summary

Mixer Drivers report to their home terminal daily to deliver scheduled loads in the area as ordered by finishers, homeowners, developers or roadway construction projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive and operate mixer truck in safe manner
• Perform prepost trip inspections on vehicle daily
• Ensure each load of concrete is properly mixed
• Keep mixer truck clean and in safe working order
• Accurately and completely fill out delivery tickets
• Assist customers with information on products and services to the best of your ability
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and co-workers

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have a valid CDL drivers license and clean driving record
• Must be registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Must have a current DOT physical card
• Must be able to work in a safe manner to complete tasks

Training

All new hires will participate in a 2 week in house, paid mixer driver training program. New drivers will shadow a senior driver to learn the job duties then will be shadowed by the senior driver as they perform those tasks. New drivers will also participate in a full day welcome orientation to the company on their first day.
